U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling over 1,200 points on Thursday.
Shares of Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:LW) rose sharply during Thursday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued FY25 sales guidance above estimates.
Lamb Weston reported quarterly earnings of $1.10 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 87 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.52 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.49 billion.
Lamb Weston shares jumped 10% to $59.52 on Thursday.
