Shares of New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. (NYSE:EDU) fell sharply in today's pre-market trading after the company announced weak quarterly earnings.
The company reported quarterly adjusted earnings of 22 cents per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of 30 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.04 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.03 billion.
New Oriental Education & Technology Group shares dipped 16.2% to $50.98 in the pre-market trading session.
