Alcoa, Lattice Semiconductor, Stratasys And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 200 points on Monday.

Shares of Alcoa Corporation (NYSE:AA) rose sharply during Monday's session after the company agreed to sell its 25.1% joint venture stake in Ma’aden for $1.1 billion, including $950 million in Ma’aden shares.

Alcoa shares jumped 6.5% to $34.63 on Monday.

Here are some other big stocks recording gains in today's session.

  • Ascendis Pharma A/S (NASDAQ:ASND) shares jumped 19.8% to $142.76 after the company announced topline data from its pivotal approach trial of Transcon CNP (Navepegritide).
  • Bausch + Lomb Corporation (NASDAQ:BLCO) shares gained 15% to $17.86. Needham reiterated a Hold rating on Bausch & Lomb.
  • Nuvalent, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUVL) climbed 12.8% to $98.70 after the company highlighted results for its ROS1 and ALK-Positive NSCLC programs and accelerated its development timeline. Also, the company announced a $350 million public offering and multiple firms raised their respective price targets on the stock.
  • Fitell Corporation (NASDAQ:FTEL) gained 12.5% to $17.75.
  • JBDI Holdings Limited (NASDAQ:JBDI) jumped 11.1% to $29.38.
  • Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:LSCC) surged 10.3% to $49.46. Lattice Semiconductor appointed Ford Tamer as CEO, effective immediately.
  • EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ:SATS) rose 8.4% to $26.33. Morgan Stanley, on Friday, raised its price target on the stock from $14 to $20.
  • Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS) rose 7.9% to $7.61 after the company authorized a share repurchase program of up to $50 million.
  • Corvus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRVS) gained 7.5% to $5.48. The announced it initiated the registrational Phase 3 clinical trial of Soquelitinib for patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma.
  • Viasat, Inc. (NASDAQ:VSAT) rose 6.3% to $13.57.
  • Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTZ) rose 5.5% to $3.1650.
  • Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFM) gained 4.2% to $106.42. Evercore ISI Group analyst Michael Morris upgraded Sprouts Farmers Market from In-Line to Outperform and raised the price target from $96 to $120.
